By calling ahead on your mobile and selecting the ‘Welcome Home’ mode, HomeMinder will create the perfect environment to come home to by turning on lights, air-conditioning and playing your favourite CD. These can also be programmed to operate automatically at preset times. HomeMinder even knows when it’s sunrise and sunset to turn outside lights on and off, and close curtains automatically. 'Brains' Behind the Clipsal System

HomeMinder links all of the home’s electrical services and enables easy, programmable control from anywhere in the house, even via a mobile phone or PC. The best thing about HomeMinder is ‘Mode Control’. A keypad or your phone can be used to select a number of ‘Modes’. For instance, upon leaving for work, enter your personal code to activate the ‘Away’ mode. This automatically arms the security system and turns off air-conditioning and any lights that remain on in the house.

The Ultimate House-Sitter

Select ‘Holiday’ mode when leaving the house for an extended period and you’ll be leaving your house in safe hands. HomeMinder will arm the security system and ensure that the garden is watered regularly. It will also give your home the “lived-in” look while you’re away by turning lights on and off at programmed times and opening curtains during the day.

As well as creating the lived-in look while you’re away, HomeMinder is clever enough to let you activate or disarm your security system over the phone. You can even unlock the front door to let someone in!

HomeMinder can be programmed to water your garden at set times automatically. You can even control your irrigation by phone from anywhere in the world. A Clipsal Rain Sensor can also be installed so that HomeMinder only waters the garden when it needs it.

Any phone, including your mobile, can be used as a control device. Simply call home and enter a code to access Clipsal HomeMinder. A voice prompt will list a range of control options which can be selected by pushing buttons on your phone.
