Call Waiting
Call waiting is a feature that allows you to answer an incoming call while you are already on a call. While you are using your phone service, if someone tries to call you, you will hear a special tone. You can answer the second call and swap between calls. Cost: FREE
Caller ID
With appropriate equipment, such as a special display on your telephone, caller ID can display the telephone number of a person calling your telephone service (unless they have blocked their details). To block your number on a call by call bases dial '1831' before the number. Cost: $6.60 per month
Call Barring
Call Barring allows you to disable certain types of calls from your phone. These barring options are programmed into the exchange. You need to ask us to add, change or remove your preferred barring option. Cost: FREE |
Voice Mail
Voice Mail records messages left by callers to your telephone service. The messages are stored in a mailbox so you can retrieve them using your Voice Mail number and PIN. You know you have a message waiting when you hear a special dial tone when you pick up the phone. Callers to your service pay for the call as if you had answered it. We do not charge you for forwarding the call to Message Bank. Cost: $6.00 per month
Call Diversion (Exchange Based)
Call Diversion (Number Only) allows you to use a telephone number that is not connected to a service and have calls to that number forwarded to your Basic Telephone Service. This service is useful for legitimate business who have moved premises. It can not be used maliciously as regulated by the trade practices act. Cost: $55.00 connection & $13.75 per month + call costs
Call Forward
Call forward allows you to forward calls to another number (either preset or that you set), it can be set to activate immediately, on busy or on no answer. Cost: FREE |
